What is an MSG file?
MSG is Microsoft Outlook’s format for saving an individual email and its metadata, formatting and attachments.
Can I open an MSG file on a Mac?
Yes. MSG Opener works in current versions of Safari and other modern browsers without Outlook for Mac.
Are my emails uploaded?
No. The selected file is read by JavaScript running in your browser. It is not sent to MSG Opener or stored on a server.
Can it open an MSG attached to another MSG?
Yes. Choose “View message” beside an embedded Outlook message, then use the navigation trail to return to its parent.
