Open Winmail.dat without Outlook.

Winmail.dat is a Microsoft TNEF package. It often appears when Outlook or Exchange wraps the sender’s intended attachments in a format that Apple Mail, Gmail and other email apps do not display normally.

Recover the files inside

1. Save the winmail.dat or ATT00001.dat attachment to your device.
2. Choose it in MSG Opener or drop it onto the main viewer.
3. MSG Opener identifies the TNEF package and lists the files it contains.
4. Select Download beside one file or Download all when several are available.

Private by design

The package is interpreted by JavaScript running on your device. MSG Opener does not upload, receive or store the file or its extracted attachments. Recovered files can still contain unsafe content, so only open files you trust.
