MSG TO TXT

Convert an MSG email to plain text.

A TXT export creates a lightweight, searchable record that can be opened by nearly any computer or mobile device. MSG Opener performs the conversion inside your browser and downloads the resulting text directly to your device.

Included in the TXT file

• Message subject
• Sender and recipients
• CC recipients and date when available
• Readable plain-text message body
• A list of attachment filenames

The attachments themselves are not placed inside the TXT file. They remain available as separate downloads from the MSG viewer.

How to save the TXT export

1. Open your MSG file on the main viewer.
2. Check that the message displays correctly.
3. Choose Save TXT.
4. Your browser downloads the locally created text file.
