MSG TO SAFE HTML

Save an MSG email as safe HTML.

HTML preserves more of an email’s visual structure than plain text while remaining easy to open in a browser. MSG Opener creates the file locally and applies the same content restrictions used by its safe formatted viewer.

What “safe HTML” means here

The exported file removes scripts, forms, frames, active embeds, remote images and live external links. A restrictive content-security policy is included in the saved file. These measures reduce exposure but do not certify the original message or its attachments as harmless.

What the export includes

• Subject, sender, recipients and date
• Sanitized message formatting when available
• Plain-text fallback for messages without HTML
• Attachment filenames
• A note explaining which active content was removed

How to export it

1. Open the MSG file in the viewer.
2. Choose Save Safe HTML.
3. Open the downloaded HTML file in any modern browser.
